just to reach our goal by:Roy Randolph Andrews AKA:The hot shot poet
we do it only our way
because that's the way we roll
we always seem to find something
to get ourselves into
we don't feel it is dangerous
but this is what we do
from putting on tattoos
to rebuilding a worthless truck
theirs always something
we're never getting stuck
from tearing down buildings
to hauling it away
we always find something
day after day
it doesn't break hearts
or damage any souls
you might say we're laid back
because this is how we roll
we ask no one for nothing
that we can do without
to have each others back
to this there is no doubt
so to make this poem sensible
& to say we've reached our goal
our day is now complete
because this is how we roll

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
