Array ( [sid] => 172192 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Nightshade [time] => 2012-04-26 18:47:59 [hometext] => An exquisite poem about love, fear, darkness, and beauty. [bodytext] => Reflected like a rainbow, within my crystal eyes,
hidden truth inside your smile... where freedom waits to fly,

A haunting tune... a precious gem, a song that touches dreams,
a gorgeous thought within a hope ... cascading in a stream,

Come my love and take me home...to cold and warmth within,
oh bring me back and dwell with me...where fire did begin,

ride with me upon the wind... where love is meant to be,
ever loving hope is here... she's come to set us free,

never fear a hopeless dream... for fear... like fire... grows,
do not feed its wretched flames... or heed its tempting glow,

for fear and love both soar on wind...and whisper in the light,
come fly with me forever more... and fade into the night. Love the title !!

There is a distinct ethereal feel to this.
Romanticly airy but with a soft sober tone.

Nice. :)

Tender and flowing as a peaceful summer wind. This is dreamy. Perfection

for fear... like fire... grows

No kidding, fear can consume us. Love that metaphor, too. Fire has a way of taking over.

Beautiful writing.

Thank you,

Tim

I always love work where the words just seem to naturally flow into one another.
I know it is often very difficult to get a poem
to do this. You seem to do it effortlessly.
Lovely work , brings a sense of peace whilst reading it. truly , doug
