I think it's safe to say
that I could turn back time
to a certain day
a day that I was holding you
so closely in my arms
as a sparkle in your eyes
reveals you're precious charm
the charm that made me fall in love
and give my heart to you
the one I vowed through thick+thin
and never be untrue
my past has its mistakes
it's part of life I guess,
if I was one bit perfect
I'd of never made this mess
but I can't walk on water
it's very plain to see
this is simply my life
I'll change this part of me.

If i could walk on water
I think it's safe to say
that I could turn back time
to a certain day
a day that I was holding you
so closely in my arms
