They call me Poet
I've earned the name
I'll respond to either
just the same
I've devoted my life
to making my rhymes
of love & laughter
good & bad times
they're a part of me
& the stories I tell
of hearts being lifted
& hearts that fell
there is no such thing
as just one way
poems are projected
from day to day
They all are made
from ups & downs
They come from the heart
& they're always around
the hot shot poet
