Array ( [sid] => 172466 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Fools Lead the Blind [time] => 2012-05-12 08:42:07 [hometext] => This describes the lack of truth in the real world, and how world leaders knowingly deceive the masses. While the peoples intentions are most likely good, their refusal to look for what is true is ultimately their downfall. [bodytext] => Sudden realization of this world so cold,
draining all innocence making children grow old,
if people would just listen i would gladly tell,
to see the illusion and break out of this shell,
corrupted souls consumed by greed,
a hunger for money they relentlessly feed,
a world of thieves speaking nothing but lies,
are they worse than the fools who follow their cries,
when will a world in slumber awaken,
when will they see their souls have been taken,
when they've realized too late with no one to hold,
finally they will see what they've always been told,
misery is all they know in time of regret,
coming face to face with evil; though they've already met,
easily deceived to believe fire is cool,
they search for wisdom while becoming a fool,
hoping someone looks down with mercy,
but seeing only darkness and its abominable cursing,
be one of the few who is blessed to know,
that beneath the surface lurks many a foe,
not even my pity will you receive,
the waste of a life is all i will grieve,
you refuse to accept what few turn to see,
the ancient promise unlocks eternity,
the truth is certain and its words are bound,
in a clam you thought hollow,
a pearl is found. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 62 [informant] => Fidei_defensor [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => spiritual )

Some people live in the castle drinking wine. Us, others pick the grapes. Cavemen in the cave, dinosaur hunters out hunting.
