Contagions of sin and shame
Warped by social norms and words
Of sick and fatal flame

Crawling sorely to the cockpit
But hands have no sense of grip
The wheel won't stop turning
Spinning lies from the lips

Take control. Grasp the truth.
Annihilate the pain from your youth.
Words only half of your mind's identity
The other half, not one can see.

Where is my strength hold?
Have I none?
Oh, give me your hand.
My heart has won.

Trembling lips match my heart.
Breaths are cold, thoughts are dark.
You're calm, or so your steadiness speaks.
My own stature proves far more weak.

I've been discovered by my own heart.
I pray it's my sole discrepency.
Hush, please don't tell of my disgrace,

Twisted thoughts infect the mind
Contagions of sin and shame
