Array ( [sid] => 172627 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Wonderland [time] => 2012-05-22 22:21:07 [hometext] => This poem that I have wrote inspires me to continue on in life and to explore the world beyond. You never know what you might come across... Also, I have always loved the theme, Alice In Wonderland. [bodytext] => All around I see,
People sniffing flowers.
In the distance,
I see many dark towers.

As I walk closer,
It gets very small.
I walk into this room,
And find a mysterious doll.

Around the room,
I see pointy vines.
There is this paper,
Filled with words on it's lines.

There are dungeons and dragons,
Candy trees and more.
I never want to leave this land,
Back into the swirly colored door.

I too like the rhymes, they do not seem forced which
is excellent. Lewis Carroll was one of the first poets
I ever encountered as a child and this portrays some of Alice's adventures quite well.

Hi, really nice and whymsical, i too find alice in wonderland deeply significant almost archetypal a common thread with much deeper meaning to us as a species or you could say portraying muchness, at a subconscious level it resonates more meaning than the outer layer first indicates, I also like that your user name refers to awakening as i personally think someone who has evolved understands the link between alice in wonderland and higher consciousness at a far deeper level than most, even quantum physics uses alice in wonderland to explain atoms ie all matter at the sub atomic level , basically falling down the rabbit hole into a strange surreal world really sums it up, again a really great poem
