sitting here in my chair
trying to understand
is there a difference in me
and any other man
I do beleive there is
in everything we do
it is what makes the difference
between me & you
I like to think I'm simple
in every way that I can be
but for some crazy reason in my heart
I want the world to see
to share my capabilities
of what I've taught myself to do
I find a way to touch the heart
& send it straight to you
to see if just by some chance
one reader might agree
the feelings in my writings
somebody else just might see
this is how I do reflect
& everybody knows it
it's listed in my name
I'm the hot shot poet
