Night Dreams
I once lived for beauty
And the seeing beneath
The surface of things
Day dreams of castles
Night dreams of soft kisses
My mind dancing in the clouds
I stumbled
And fell so deep in love
That it seemed I might never
Climb out again
The pain and anguish
Of the that past
Would never really drown
Always gasping for the air
Of poetry
Forever searching for the one.
The echo of her who
First unlocked my heart
