I can't control the madness in my mind. my body quakes, my mouth full of cotton. I start to feel the call of my addiction, I need the release a need to let the crimson pain of my life leave my body. Cold blade in my hand, blue vein on my wrist, scarlet pain in my body. My sobs echo off the hollow walls, the blade a perfect weapon. I see the monster that is my reflection, clawing to get out of its cage. I want to tame it, want to lock it away. The monster is stronger than I am. The blade draws near, the anticipation of the pleasure makes me moan. I drop the blade and let the abyss consume me the monster kept at bay. For today. wow...I could feel your raw emotion in this writing piece. keep writing to express your pain, it often helps when you put it in writing rather than over thinking, which only makes matters worse. good luck to you...

You gave me chills when I read this. Agree with what the others say. Keep on writing, and let your pain out. You are great at expressing your inner-pain. Welcome to our world of poetry and maddness, of delight and laughter, of agony and rapture. Keep writing :-)
