I smile and then realize . .
The dreams of reality are so close
The crying pain scratches my window and I laugh with inquisitive giggles
The lights so dim that I can't see the emptyness within my soul
The disease that's slowly but surely killing me
Burning thoughts of suicide flood my heart
Pushed by the birth giver
The screaming won't subside
Pushed the love away
curled fetal lying naked and cold with thoughts so warm
puddles of blood stream from my eyes
shocked my violent silent crys hurt
The books too long for me to read
why bother?
too many words to try to explain how I feel
My life's in my eyes, black, cold, and dead
the make up doesn't cover the scars
and the laughter doesn't cover the pain . . . [comments] => 1 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 13 [informant] => marly [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
