Numbered neatly one to ten.
Each correctly spaced –
Each number in its own square.
Each one red ticked right.
The flowing lines of logic
Are not visible.
They hide beneath the paper -
In the breadth of thought.
Search for them behind a leaf,
Try beyond the moon!
Find them in running water;
Look in distant lands.

In every place a pattern;
A dynamic truth.
Look underneath the world’s skin;
Find a cosmic rule:
A matrix of simple lines;
Unwavering notes
In cacophonies of sound.
Each figure repeats
In innumerable ways.
And us, we quest here,
With minds filled up with patterns,
For the overlay;
The design above all else. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 25 [informant] => okokjazz [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

I think you have got it quite right. We have just about reached that point where an equal number of people believe we have come to your "signpost" as those who cling to past
delusions.
