To believe is to have faith
You believe in me
I have faith in you
I just gotta get through
And it's so hard when you're not with me
It's getting to be unbearable
This pain won't go away
I can't stop crying
I believe I'm meant for you
Like you always tried to tell me
Tried to make me believe
I know I'll see your face soon
But I need it now
Before I break down
I need to see you there
I need to feel your arms around me
I don't want to wait for tomorrow
Everything is so hard
I keep taking hits
I can't take this anymore
It's so damn hard just to be strong
It's so hard to believe
'Cause the stars can't console me
The dark can't hold me
It just can't love me
I'm missing your sweet touch
And what I sometimes see in your eyes
The way it used to be was perfect
I hate being alone
On these sunny days
I wish I could spend with you
Nothing on earth compares to you
To the love that we share
The blue sky, it laughs at me
The sun just taunts me
But I believe!
Colours all around
Mock me as they glimmer
But I believe!
I wanna throw something to see it break
I wanna hide from the world and die
But I believe!
This girl needs something more
That something is you
And I believe!
At least the night conceals me
At least I know you miss me too
But not the way I do
Still I believe
Because I know that you love me
That's what gives me faith
And the strength to stand today

I can feel the emotion just rolling off of this piece. And as trite as it sounds, I know the feelings in this poem. My fiancee just left a month ago for basic, and I have another month to go before I get to see him again, and missing him has become almost like a constant ache in my chest. I just posted a poem titled "It's Only For a Little While" that is almost exactly like yours. I suppose great minds think alike. Great write! And I hope the pain gets easier to bear.
