just go ahead and watch him die
this will give them a tale to tell
and this might help you get by

but i think there's more to the story
Judas should be a saint
Jesus committed suicide for my sins
Paul didn't ride in yelling "the British are coming"
Aberham only freed the slaves to create the union
Thomas didn't create the light bulb
Ben didn't create nor discovered electricity
and Philadelphia cheese was born in New York

I'm just thinking
If not for Judas's betrayal
Jesus wouldn't of died for me the way he did
And with Paul-well he was being held captive by the british
When his friend road in screaming "the british are coming"
Honest Abe said he didn't care about slavery
As long as he got the union out of it
Thomas didn't create the light bulb- it was his partner
Who he later bought out, but he did discover the filliment
That made the light bulb work- after 8000 tries
Ben couldn't of dicovered electricity- since the roman did
hundred of years earlier- not to mention it already had a name
and Philadelphia cheese, well the creater knew the name sounded better

i'm just saying
live and let live
live and watch die
in a hundred years

I have to admit your tone and style are straightforward and convicting. In other words, a great write you have presented. Still, I have my biblical values that cannot allow me to praise the entire poem: it's message. It's that one part about Jesus that I cannot grasp, for it was predestined that Jesus would die (but that's a whole spiritual topic in itself) Take care and remember, Jesus loves you and wants you to know the unwavering biblical truth,
Deidra
