Sitting searching for a job
Any job, the perfect job
I strike up a conversation
Wow! Breaks on! Crash impending!
She is so, so nice
I give her my card, nonchalantly
I show her my empire online

Fate takes me by surprise
I’ve sat next to her for over an hour
And didn’t even notice her, what a fool
I smile and make chit chat
I like her, she’s cool

I’d like to see her again
She has my number, will she call it?
Who knows only the gods of fate?
They hold my heart in their hands

That was a happy encounter
Right place, right time, fate
What will happen next?
I’ll keep you posted, smile

Perfectly describes how that nervous giddy feeling you get in your gut when you think you are going to get that new job or when you have met the "perfect" girl....I like it. Well written
