A Candle,

For all life now that I would want you to see.

For your empty place in our family!

For the years of Wisdom missed.

A light to show you the grandchildren you never saw,

Their achievements and zest for life.

And for them missing all that you could have taught them.

And a flame that burns with warmth of our hearts to you.

A steadfast spirit of family.

For you my Friends,

A Candle,

For all of what you brought to my life.

For the times we had together,

For the years of laughter missed.

A light to show you the moments that I wish you were there

All that you brought to my life.

Your zest for life.

For all the times you were there for me,

And a flame that burns with the memories

As we walked side by side.

A flame that promises you

That in this time of celebration,

You are not forgotten!

Hi Anna,

A fine tribute and dedication. No need for
further comment, your poem says it all.

Yes, *sigh*, what Tommy said. You definitely sum it up with excellence and beauty. This is the way I wanted to write but couldn't because of the numbness. Thank you ever so much.
