That lay deep within my heart,
You thought it was love,
I wanted to share,
I didn't mean to hurt you.. didn't want us to part.

You were kind and caring,
I was blinded, didn't see you were falling in love with me,
I thought this was a friendship we were sharing,
I had eyes only for another, but you didn't see.

Now even our friendship has come to an end,
Which saddens me deeply,
I am always looking for new friends,
But the one friend I need isn't there anymore,
He's taken flight from my life,
And completely walked out the door.

Where ever you are friend,
Just know that I care,
I Never meant to hurt you,
I think our friendship was very rare.

What ever you're looking for in life,
I hope that you find her,
That she treats you right,
Maybe one day you'll contact me,
Telling me that everything's alright.

Please know I think of you quite often,
Hoping and praying you are well,
For now though I think it's best,
That we go our separate ways.

For I have found true love,
I hope that you have too,
For we all need someone special ,
To make us feel happy and not blue.

There truly was a passion there,
That lay deep within my heart,
You thought it was love,

I know how you are feeling. I went through that last year.
1) A boyfriend who was my best friend. I regard him as my best friend before regarding him as my boyfriend because its how be best relate before relating on a couple level.

Anyways, we broke up. Fought as friends. And broke that off. We were angry at each other, alot of hurt. But, then ( and this is the part that will help you), we didn't speak for 6 mths. And then a mutual friend to bother of us encouraged me to let the past go, and talk to him via computer chatting. Today, we are back together and learned from our mistakes. We've been back together 4 mths.

My point is to hold out hope because I am sure in the future your friend will come back after time has passed and youve grown in your lives apart. That is when you will reunit because it will be a pivital moment you will want to share together.
