Seasons Past

The season quietly stalls Time fades as it gently falls Memory slides ever stagnant Life drops as we are dormant
Looking back beyond the years Sights now seen bring the tears Paths divide as moments came Nothing then remains the same
Images cloud as the eye clears What happened before disappears Hands release what caused the pain Future stands tall with what we gain
Swirling disturbances in our mist Life builds up the human grist Dwelling in the land of harms Blocks out life's golden charms
Fancy words to be able to say Try to live in the present day Past only hurts the imagined soul In today lies love's true control

True it may be difficult to let go of past harms but the poem still has a positive feel to it of...letting go.
Very wise! Very nice.
As always, thank you.
