locked case lazy eyes
long walks everyday cloudy
she sings for him
he answers her call
he swerves all around
he's nervous he sees light
night falls on this boy
conversation dried up
lucky as he has been
there's no place for him
he cries with a question on his chest
falls short falls apart
excuses kill non existant laugh
crack jokes at a school bell
he's faded he's faded
he cracks his jokes
his questions go on and on
