I remember the day we met.
I remember how you used to act around me because of your "crush."
I remember the silly, pointless memories.
I remember the way we would act togeher.
I remember when we would watch Gabby together in the nursery before Bri and Jonah were born.
I remember spending sunday mornings with you, and being devistated if you didnt show up.
I remember sunday school classes, and us not wanting to be separated.
I remember seeing the look on your face after every fight with your dad.
I remember switching churches with you, and then you leaving.
I remember every sunday without you, i was so lonely.
I remember you being the only person i ever wanted to be around.
I remember the one zumba class you took with my at the YMCA.
I remember the desire i had to tell you how i felt, but never did.
I remember the regret.
I remember the more recent memories.
I remember the night you messaged me, giving me your number.
I remember our conversations.
I remember every detail you told me the night we stayed up talking.
I remember waiting every second for you to message me.
I remember the heart-break.
I remember the forgiveness.
I remember the love.
I remember you.
I never want to forget.

I don't think you ever will, and even if it starts to slip away from your mind with age, you'll still have some of those memories, be them hazy or not. I hope in the end, they know what it means to you, and hope means so much as a fraction for them. To care for another, and have them almost deny you even when they seemed that they cared too, can be quite hurtful. I'm not one to feel as if though I'd act in any way reckless because I was turned down, but those thoughts don't carry over when upset. It's easy to go from saying that to drinking in the end.
