[hometext] => A poem about the importance of not dwelling on the past and looking to the future.
[bodytext] => Seconds melt, eclipsed by days and years. Time, clichéd, marches to the endless drone of a ticking clock. As tomorrows become yesterdays, dreams become regrets, But don't fret, because the sand keeps falling. The grains never stop; the future keeps calling And forward is the only way to go. The past can be poison, poised to cut deep From head to feet, captivating, cultivating. But, with eyes on the prize, I spread my wings to fly; To climb the next step, to reach for the sky. Although what's done is done, what comes next has yet to come. I embrace the sunrise, the horizon, the fresh air. With feet planted firm, I stand and I stare. For every loss that follows behind me, I can see nothing ahead but victory.
