confusion has devoured me
I am so very lost
this is the price I'm paying
the pain is the cost

searching for the help I need
to bring my son home
he says that without me
he feels so all alone

I know that I must find a way
to help my baby see
that all will be alright
& he will be back with me

he is my everything
in everything I've done
he's the reason I wont quit
he truly is my son

to put away the memories
that tore my world apart
not knowing what to do
or how to find my heart

I've searched for it everywhere
in my truck & on the floor
