called upon my grace
I knew something was wrong
when I looked at her face

Face hanging low
eyes swelled with tears
Confiding in me
knowing me for so many years

Things just going wrong
not the way she wanted them to be
Everything around her changing
no hope that she could see

Looking to me for help
a place to unload her pain
This friend came to me before
here she is again

For me she is no bother
her true friend forever I will be
No matter what is the problem
I will try to set her free

Just by talking
lending a shoulder to place her head and cry
Forever I am her true friend
until the day I die.

Confide in me my friend
let those tears flow
The feeling of happiness will come again
this I want you to know

Nothing is bad forever
life is crazy with its ups and downs
There will be time for a smiling face
even time for frowns

Thank you my friend
as you too have been there for me
Together we will survive this crazy world
this is a fortune I can really see

Lift your head now my friend
let me see a smile again on your pretty face
Face the world again
with no sadness leaving any trace

Touching and well written verse.
You are a great person and friend.Sometimes ones time, even if a word isnt spoken holds its weight in gold.
