Empty
You left me empty
I used to be so full
Full of life, full of wonder, full of love
Where did it all go?
I think you took it with you when you left
Left me standing there watching your figure disappear through blurry eyes
Will I ever run out of tears?
Even with the passing of time
They continue to fall
Sometimes harder than on that first night
When you said you didnt love me
I guess I am full after all
Full of sadness and disappointment
And a false image of who you are and what we were
Maybe my tears will drain it out
And in their place leave room for love
It just wont come from you
Youll never bring back what you took from me
So alone I will have to find it anew
And fill myself up again.
