Yes I still write but it's a lot more personal
For those who seem to worry about me
I have not gone any where
I'm still around though it may seem I might not be here

The pace of life is picking up from what it once was
At one time a hundred poem blitz used to be the norm
I'm taking time to go to college
but I won't be away too long
And I'll check in on you to see that you haven't gone

I'm still here
and my words still ring within the air
Had to sort through some problems
yet they could not keep me from here
My words still sing upon the page
for any listening ear
I'm still here
in the moment
I'm still here

I learned to take more walks to notice the flowers grow
To learn that life is not concrete where ever I go
And the birds still sing their songs in the trees
as they did the day before
I just find myself listening to them a little bit more

I'm still here
and my words still ring within the air
Had to sort through some problems
yet they could not keep me from here
My words still sing upon the page
for any listening ear
I'm still here
in the moment
I'm still here

Life has its twists and turns
can't tell where it'll send you
Ups and downs dictate
the way we will write
Light and darkness will
always prevail upon us
but I hope in these choices
I will choose the light

I'm still here
and my words still ring within the air
Had to sort through some problems
yet they could not keep me from here
My words still sing upon the page
for any listening ear
I'm still here
in the moment
I'm still here

I still think of the days when I had the time to really post

Glad to see you're still around, Archie. I'm still here too. The site isn't quite what it used to be but I'm ever so glad that it's still here too and Mick can keep it going. Glad we're part of it.
