Array ( [sid] => 176743 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I Could Build A Kingdom [time] => 2013-08-19 12:52:17 [hometext] => Inspired by the song “Overture” by Benjamin Gibbard & Steve Fisk [bodytext] => I could build a kingdom from the curves of your body
An entire cosmic monarchy is rooted in your touch
I’ll walk to the edge of the world, so on and so forth
Passing galaxies and floating through transparent crypts
Planetary graves and fallen friends to meet you
Standing right where I pictured you to be…
Smiling, warming the essence of my soul
Naked, soft, my peace is rendered
Two, as one
Wrapped in a blanket
Under a sea of stars
Moments pass, kissing and caressing
Impulsive and foolish, love
Running through neon fields of lilac and ultraviolet fireflies
Diving into sea foam waters from heights unknown, unfathomed
Intertwining
I’ve never known a love so surreal
I never want to wake
I could build a kingdom from the curves of your body
Where we could dream perpetually, love eternally
Most have never known the presence of their soul mate
Never looking past the vulnerability of flesh
The flutter of a heart in-tuned, in trance
Opened to the magic of a possibility, a dream…
Elapse me into the coma of your skin
Medicate my soul with the movement of your hands
Show me that these years of loneliness have been for something
Love me, so on and so forth

A very nice poem with a lot of good lines. I think the
    so on and so forth
was a nice touch, sorta added a whimsical touch.
