And know exactly what to say to relieve my dread
To pull me back from the edge, after all this pain, and make me believe that our love is not dead
Too foster hopes of beautiful things and inspire me to believe that they are ahead

How can one man put into words, so perfectly, the deepest desires of my heart as if he was my heart
You have shaped my soul like a master sculptor with his art
Your love for me is skillful and smart
As that heart you so eloquently convinced, is only yours… every part

How can one man make me feel the way you have made me feel, so perfect, within my own skin
Even my physical body you did win
To make me feel as if it is a place that no one else has ever been
The thought of that only makes me grin.

How can we doubt that a love like ours is heaven sent
To love each other forever and a day we are meant
I am sorrowful for the errors I have made by my insecure actions for which I do repent
As they were said only to hurt you, as you hurt me, they were foolishly meant

And with all the things I have said, I guess the how is completely immaterial
Because my love for you remains ethereal.

And quite frankly, I don't care, because that one man is so perfectly you
I know that our angels will see us through.
