Whispering gently here and there
Moon and starts cast a glow
On the words we write-the thoughts that grow

To stop time from moving fast
To take it slow and make it last
This I wish that I could do
For I could-I would share it with you

If I had but only one minute
I would insist that you be in it
Rather than walk this life alone
And miss the half I could have known

So as we talk and type each night
Praying the sun to stay far out of site
That is until, the clock is read
Then Good night, Sweet Dreams, and off to bed [comments] => 4 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 16 [informant] => jusmeotay [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
