Living on the edge of the outer limits
of the twi-light zone,
where talking heads
gossip on for hours
about things they do not know.
Laughing hyenas are giggling
as they watch the crippled pilgrims stumble and fall,
the mad man waters are churning
in a emotional whirlpool
'round and 'round I go.

I know that I have the power
to heal the hole in my soul,
In slow motion
mentally I melt for hours
because I am so crippled I can only crawl.
I resist the kiss of madness
that's calling me back to the under world,
minions of evil are watching in the shadows
laughing at me
as I struggle for control.

I realize you have this posted under self struggle but OMG! what a great and brilliant sci-fi image it has.

Sorry for any struggle you may be having but it certainly inspired some great writing.

This is AMAZING! I empathise with you. I feel like we're separated soul-mates just through this beautiful piece of originality. Thank you, Andy (Alkyman)

Grate write. Huge war your raging however you will conquer. If its not worth dyeing for its not worth living for. Don't give up. Blessings

the mind has a weirdness all its own when we
get in a funk, this poem portrays this feeling in
spades, the images are brilliant, like an enchantment
of the deranged, beautifully penned my friend,

hugs n' love nessa
