I thought you would be proud that the words once again flowed
I thought that through all of my failures, your love still showed
I had fears of coming back to this place
The memories of pain still visible on my face

I took a chance and pushed hard as I could
The words still are not quite the way they should
In my mind I imagined you would be happy for me
Though I forgot the side of you that happiness does not see

The side that lashes out from crazy thoughts without base
The side that thinks you are not able to finish the race
Striking out with words that cut straight through to my heart
Making me regret that sharing my words I decided to take part

Don’t worry though as you will not have the chance to cut me any deeper
I have decided it is not worth the pain, so I will become a quiet sleeper
The fear of posting has proved to be what I was expecting it to be
You have had your last opportunity to take shots at a new write from me

this is sooo sad... i don't know who upset you my friend, but- no one is worth giving up for, no one is worth letting go of a precious gift such as yours, no one who doesn't believe in you should have any say- in what, how, when, why you write... ::hopefully i'm only reading this wrong and your just not going to let someone see what you've written:: but don't ever quit writing! your pen has always been and will ever remain golden! yes, true, words can cut deeply tho as poets we express to the world what others cannot,

big hugs n' love nessa

Wow!! Nessa is soooo correct. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE to dictate what you write , who you write about. or where you post!! You have been a true friend to so many of us on here and you have provided us with inspiration beyond measure... Some people allow jealousy to get the better of them and they are probably jealous of your words... Keep on penning, my friend...
Hugs
Jenni

Don't let people bother you. It isn't worth it. Fantastic write!!! Well done. :O) Keep up with the great work. Keep on penning. Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful talents with us. We all truly appreciate it.
