Laughter, stories, volleyball;
Horseshoes, swimming, for us all!

All the children, onesie, twosie..
Growing up with Auntie Suzie.
Learning “May I”, “Thank you” “Please”;
Hearts are full of memories!

All are welcome, heaven knows;
Suzie’s door was never closed.

Sunny day, glistening pool;
Kitchen treats to make us drool!
Welcome in, have a seat;
Tell me what you want to eat!

What’s St. Paddy’s day about?
Sweet corned beef and saurkraut!
Yard is full of eggs at Easter;
Followed by a sumptuous feaster!

Ham at Christmas; turkey too!
Vintage dishes, pink and blue…
There’s a blessing, then a prayer;
Thanking all who come to share.

She’s the witch at Halloween!
Tempting kids with jellybeans!

Yet your story’s just beginning;
Florida’s a brand new inning!
Batter up! Start the game!
Right back home from whence you came!

Cause the bid was won by Brian;
Off you go, there’s no denying!
Home is waiting there for you..
But you have a home here too..

We’ll remember as we kiss you;
All these days, and we will miss you!
Once the door is closed behind you;
We’ll have stories to remind you;

Should others ask you to recall;
The legacy you left us all;
Look back and see as you depart;
The trails you left across our hearts. [comments] => 8 [counter] => 298 [topic] => 23 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FamilyPoems )

Dear Soft

We all have someone like Suzie in our lives. This is such a beautiful testimony and tribute. It warms my heart to see the love and respect you have for this exemplary lady. Yes I'm sure she deserves it. Like we all should. These are things that can't be bought but only earned. This is a story of true love and devotion on the one side, and on the other side true love and appreciation. Beautiful absolutely beautiful piece God bless

Greetings
Rus
