As I walked about our friendly City

I went by some beautiful Bushes and Trees

Down a path smelling flowers so pretty

Saw many a creature friend, Birds and Bees

This was during the day my yesterday

Well I walked throughout this peaceful place

Although the Birds talked in their own way

Serene, here things proceed at a pleasant pace

Now I may be biased in my love of home

Yet I am truthful as I write this here poem

To me there is no place like this here place

This lovely place where there is no rat race

Yes yesterday was a wonderful and quiet day

Not much at all going on as I walked along

The Birds and the Bees they were doing their thing

The Bees pollinate flowers and the Birds they do sing

There was one thing I noticed as I concluded my walk

It was getting late and all around there was nary a peep

All was silent as I looked up at the Outdoor Clock

That's when I noticed it was late, so I went home to sleep!

Wonderful piece here! I was going to say a peaceful piece, the kind one is fond of as they study the finer things that surround them, seemingly all alone to be solemn
and clear.
Sounds like a paradise visited on your perfect day. I am hiker/walker too, by the Bay where I live often, I go, and I see different things each time. New ideas in the seasons, mornings, midday or evenings
Most times I am thankful just then, other times, later on
when looking back or reading a nice poem such as this.

Peace!
