[bodytext] => Foreigners to the entire world
Disconnected from even each other Unable to live in a righteous reality Delving into a world that exists inside of them, a world of fallacies and fantasies Weather they wish to or not, they have no choice but to honor the oath of confidentiality, an oath they made to their thoughts. And their minds itch to burst To lift the seemingly invulnerable curse What a sharp clever torture: to be given words but not a voice Their believes begin to rot, and their judgment begins to quiver.. They need to speak But Lucifer concealed the tongues of those not weak. And he salted the eyes of those who read, So now real words simply cease to exist, trapped in a dimension between truth and fiction No, knowledge is not power Not if it will rust, trapped inside impotent mass So lonely, so sad, they view the world as if they were surrounded by thick glass They’d change the way we live and die, if they could only kill the coward inside But too scared to take a chance, too scared to defy their Fate If only they would let go of what they’ve been told They could rise above and find their hidden might Yet they linger in a world different from ours, Not caring about seconds, minutes, hours, They are queer, twisted, and undeservingly acute And they wonder the world blissfully, helplessly mute [comments] => 1 [counter] => 145 [topic] => 25 [informant] => johndough111 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
