come close to whisper before becoming ghosts

Of the past, and immediacy slams into view as life is illuminated as

Transitory. Those that bring you happiness in snapshots of memories

To guarantee a smile, and those more difficult, more complicated and

Yet all part of your picture,of your home, of passing through, and feelings

Heighten before settling yet again to lives with a future.

For some, as with the flame, see death as the extinguisher, but memory

Lights an eternal candle, to warm the soul even in the forgotten years,

And you my friend!

Love that...as well as the rest of the poem but that struck something in me (remembering my sister)

Poignant and powerful, a wonderful dedication not only to your departed friend but more generally to all those we have lost throughout our lives.
Memories should always return the smile.

You ever read something & it makes you speechless? Like you feel emotions, but can't put them into words?

That's how I felt reading this one. All I can say is:

Great write!
