my skin lives but yet dies
Renewal of flesh
of what my living relies

My blood flows
my heart beats strong
I love living
it’s a beautiful song

Everything I do
or everything I say
I think of it as music
it gets me through each and every day

Sad days and happy days
equality of them all bring
A vision of life
that’s what makes me want to sing

Smiling and cheerful
having this wonderful life to live
To help others less fortunate
I offer you my hand to give

Take my friendship
sing this song with me
You too shall find happiness
from each and every melody

No one should live in sorrow
for too long, it makes you cry
No reason to be so unhappy
and feel like you want to die

Our hearts beat with rhythm
together we can make a difference in this world
Let’s get everyone to sing our song
allowing a peaceful nation to be unfurled

Thank you for such an inspirational poem. I think I hear a melody to this one in the first four stanzas.

You keep singing. This is worth reading again and again.

Best,
