There's that face again-
two hundred feet away,
clouds for a brow,
branches just so for a nose,
leafy growth for a mouth.
Trees growing in dismissively,
my glassless vision seeing the life
in the face
of unwitting branches and leaves-
amazing- without glasses-
the things one can see. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Well captured. Something we all do, at least I do. I see all sorts in the clouds: faces, shapes of countries, swans, horses, dolphins, and just about anything the imagination can produce. I always find that distant clouds at sunset transform into a far-off shoreline. The clouds become the structure of the coast and the sky the sea. Trees are closer and more intimate, more personal in their production of the mind's images.
You have a varied and unique way of writing which connects so readily with the writer. You certainly got me going there!

Well this gave me a smile since my eyesight sucks. I like the homage to imagination here, and (I daresay), the underlying message that true beauty lies in our heart and is not readily seen with the naked eye.
