A version of you from around '93
Take a look back, if you feel compelled.
And read me like a book, oh the stories I can tell

Remember what I thought, if you can remember
You were at your best when you didn't know any better
At times you were green, and a bit uncouth
But always thinking up, an optimistic youth

The Stars were the limit with your fresh face
Today failures are burdens, yesterday they were mistakes
I was you and my positivity was relentless
The world was my oyster and the possibilities were limitless

Soon I'll shut the door, soon I'll leave
Just remember this within you I beathe

I like this alot. Really cool content! I think (forgive me, please) that this poem could use a little polish to achieve a better flow. As said, "A" on content!

My best and thank you for an extraordinary poem.

Invierno

I like the introspective quality of your poem, it hits the nail on the head. 'Age and experience' can often whittle away the eternal optimism of youth. Having a word with that stranger is no bad thing. You've got me doing it, right now.
