There’s music in my mind;
And rhythm in these feet;
For songs of every kind;
I can’t resist the beat.

The lyrics are confusing;
(A desert horse unnamed?)
But like these words I’m choosing;
The music must be framed.

I hum songs in the shower;
I bellow in my car;
Gone are all the flowers;
I pick on my guitar.

I figured I was pretty good;
At baying at the moon;
If only I’d an audience;
I’d be a star by noon!

I joined a choir one summer night;
They put me way in back;
Cause teacher played the black and whites;
And I sang in the cracks.

This is utterly brilliant, because it speaks to so many people-including me.

Best,

Very funny indeed but I like it. I feel this way

"There are songs to make you sad and songs to make you glad, when I have a song to sing life does not seem so bad, so I sing this melody and try to put in words how I feel, tomorrow will be for you and me, I am singing . . ."

Excerpt from 'I'm singing" By Stevie Wonder

You are a very talented poet.

This reminds me of some of my singing experiences. It's both sad and funny. Love your rhyme scheme. Don't stop singing.
