Gentle Incentive

Contributed by kmec1990 on Friday, 9th January 2015 @ 03:15:09 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

A cold nose nuzzle
A wet sloppy kiss
Four paws planted firmly
on my sleeping chest.
Two big brown eyes
In a little furry face
Begging me too hurry
before its too late.
A gentle incentive
to rise and shine
Even if the clock says
It's not quite time.

I didn't know where it was going but
I like where it went. Unique and a great read.
Animal lovers delight. Less is more!

I knew I would like this from the first line. :)

Did someone get a puppy for Christmas? It sounds like you have a good snuggler on your hands at least!

Thanks for the smile.
