Ending on bad terms, can be quite a shame. I Essentially ended on bad terms with my ex, but couldn't be mad at her. She gave me the kind of relationship I had been starting to think was nothing but pure fantasy. She was pregnant, and it turned out it wasn't mine, from shortly before we first saw each other. She either after learning this, or sensing my apprehension about feeling that such a sudden pregnancy would likely be on purpose left me, but despite all the mean things we each said, later on we talked and got along quite a bit. It's been years since feeling like I did with her, and in feeling so, I gained an amazing newfound confidence, and she, a well-loving and caring support for her child to be. So we thanked each other once more about a month ago, after her daughter's birth. We still occasionally talk, and expressed our mutual love and appreciation for what we both offered.

Regardless of my self-based ramblings, you can find joy in a love-remembered, by remembering what it was that made you happy, being thankful that it was there, and not regretting how it was. Choices and actions to regret? Sure, that's fair, but to regret the relationship as a whole and dwell on its ending, undermines and demeans what great things it had to offer you. In reminiscing and regaling in days of old, we can appreciate, take pride, and ultimately love that which was. That's a great blessing. :)

I feel drawn to others also , and often wonder if this is a universal condition ,blessing or ailment of the weak, or an essential evolutionary mechanism progressing in intensity as we reach the precipice as man readies himself for the leap into the future of mankind,, new stage advanced brain function in consciousness, So many poets on this site lay their hats down shouting out loud and clear ,"Im home" and the sound they make is beautiful . x thanks for sharing x
