The challenges that lie forth
Must be faced, not thrown at me for naught

For even in the face of defeat,
My burning will carried on
It seems along with hope
My pride is all but gone

I may not be, brimming with integrity
But it's carried, by your continued support of me
I learn of my self-worth, what I have inside

I was beckoned by a siren
Sweet Lorelei's song
My vessel was shattered
But my sense of self still strong

I stood on my island
Upset but not distraught

Ever more haunting , this leaves me breathless and endlessly longing, soooooo beautiful and bitter sweet , i can taste the acid that your words leave dripping on my tongue, and the pain is poignant and delicious. xxx

Lorelie is such a beautiful name
past that a friend all the same
Just the right amount of integrity
is all one could ever hope for
in the end.

this is very nice, a lot of folks need these gentle
words.
