I thought to myself, "who could this be?"
a stalker out to get me or the love of my life
Am I one day your prey or your adoring wife?

Nowhere to run I stare back at you
hopefully someday i'll know what to do
I have nothing on my mind but "who could this be?"
slowly you step out of the shadows so I can see

A predator you are with dark glowing eyes
I pray to the lord and say my goodbyes
I wonder how I ever saw something in you
hopefully sometime i'll know what to do

I can't get away as you pull out your knife
I pray as you start to end my life
I can't help the flashback that plays through my head
hopefully it will stop as soon as I'm dead. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 13 [informant] => FireStarter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Dark, dreary, consistently making the reader weary. A story in and of itself, a frightening scene in which we find ourselves in similar positions to/of. The paranoia that plagues us, brought forth into not only our daymare, but a stretch of words, that help us see it once more.

Good job.I can see, feel, and know the sensation of the fear.

Awesome write!!! A dark poem, but poetry can't always be so enlightened. There must be a balance, i believe. You really painted a picture with your words and the poem flowed beautifully.
Thanks for sharing this and keep on posting, love to read them!
