My life ended in unassuming fright
The car flipped over five or six times
Little spurts of flashes right before my eyes

Lets fast forward to the party before
Got drunk to settle the score
I didnt have no common sense
My friend let me leave 'cause I was tense

I started the car, took a bit of time
So drunk couldn't see in a straight line
Drove away with such great speed
Had to go, with all my willingness and need

Drove around the bend so fast
Couldn't see the lights the headbeams cast
They were blinding as I flipped over the hill
I was just a kid they didnt mean to kill

Flashback to the time I lay dying
On the bottom of the hill there's silence, no crying
I shouldn't have had a few to many
For because I did, my days have zeroed instead of being plenty [comments] => 3 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 66 [informant] => FireStarter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )

Not bad I thought this was a pretty good write. Could of worked on the cadence a bit though.
