[hometext] => I wrote this about someone I know: If I didn't know what I do about life, I would probably be amazed how someone so exceptionally beautiful could possibly be so lonely. That's what inspired it.
[bodytext] => ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She's there But she's not there Underneath the shaded glass facade that throws a prism light on all who come to pursue her A cacophony of all humanity around her Like so much noisy traffic bleating restless as night falls Leaving nothing but a trace of regret and hopeless lament that another day has passed with desperate thirst unquenched And in that crimson chamber Beyond the reach of knaves and fools A fire burns with unbridled passion Longing for redemption from its prison tomb One by one they come Seeking that which can never be theirs She's beyond the realm of words She's above the light of reason What confident fools came before me, thinking their measure was right? And fell like wounded animals straying miles from the hunt all alone Lost forever as they perished in agony no one even knowing of their fate Yet even knowing this, I pursue as if there is no trap Fearless as if I know no failure Driven by a beacon from that chamber That promises a home for the subject of its light A place for the strong and faithful that can never be revealed but for the fateful moment when the union is complete.
