I walked outside today
And looked as far as I could see
I chased I till I checked out
Again it got the best of me
It had what I thought I wanted
Those things only for me
Glamor fame a fortune
Lemme take a ride set me free
Oh the wind
We spend our days chasin somethin
It leads us to the chest of nothin
Oh the wind
Imagine riding high looking below
Ain't nothing at the end of this rainbow
Speaks to us draws us in
Got everying all we need
Listen close we get the truth
It's got lies in all its seeds
All in all it is what it is
Sifts through clouds flowers and trees
Don't get sucked
Don't you believe
Oh the wind
We spend our days chasin somethin
It leads us to the chest of nothin
Oh the wind
Imagine riding high looking below
