Let me give you both what you deserve and I want, that being the cold hard truth

You are what you are-smart, you're athletic, and you're eye candy to all the girls

You can have whatever you want, go get whatever you want in this world

Me, obviously, I'm none of those things, I wish I could change them, poof I'm Prince Charming in an instant

But alas I cannot, I'm fine with that. So stop trying to kill me just because I'm different

My face is not a punching bag for your fist, it's not that at all, you've done it at the bus stop, in the backyard, and most recently at the bar

Dude, I'm done forgiving you, this ***** way too hard

Why do you take such perverse pleasure in watching me fall?

Oh, now you'll just be more discrete about it, and berate me on some social media wall

I don't understand why you can't be happy for anyone, wishing their's was your reality

And whenever you feel low, it's me you attack, making up fabricated stories of my sexuality

You've used your nine lives, stop trying to put me into a hole

I'm not your problem, I've tried to be your friend. Get help, somewhere else quit being a bitter *****.

beautifully expressed feelings- about one totally unworthy of
your friendship, caring or help! imo you should stay home and
write and avoid this one and others who associate with him- or
change where you hang out for a while 'til he finds someone else
to berate- or a good punch to the nose, either way stay away as
much as possible because he's a negative force in your life
and no one needs that,

hugs n' love nessa

I'm very proud of you for writing this. I know you and I don't know you, but I do know I'm proud of you.

I am now sixty two and since I was a child up until present day have been dealing with people like that. I say I hope the best for you but my reality is that these kinds of people will always be there. Why? I haven't a freaking clue. I just discovered someone again spreading falsehoods about me. I suppose maybe these types of people are there to show us that we can be better. They say things happen for a reason...maybe that's why this kinda ***** happens. At least the good people know they're being good because of ***** like this. Perhaps we need the comparison so we can say to ourselves, "I'm glad I'm living the good life and glad I'm not a *****head like that!

I know that doesn't make it better for you. I am just sorry you have to go through it.

Pieces of us are shared through our poetry and from the pieces I see, I believe you're a good person and don't deserve this kinda *****. I pray it stops.

I like the way you expressed yourself in this heartfelt write and I hope it helped you some.

Take care and keepa writin',

Tim

Sometimes you just have to let it go.
Don't ever play second fiddle to anyone.
I know the story all too well and that is why I believe
in karma. It may not come as soon as you like. But it will eventually come.

James

Aye caramba! Expresses exactly how I've felt over the years growing up. Keep embracing your difference and defying the haters; you're gonna do well. Great writing and emotion here. Take care and God bless,

Deidra
