I whisper to myself, justifying the stinging
Sensation left behind my eyes.

I know this is true but I can/'/t let go
I can/'/t let the tears fall, I can/'/t do it.

Because part of me feels that you/'/ll be right.
That I/'/m overly sensitive like you say.

But part of me also thinks that you/'/re wrong.
Part of me refuses to apologize for feeling.
For feeling what you/'/re feeling, for feeling
What everyone is feeling, for what I feel.

I won/'/t apologize for laughing at dumb
Jokes, falling in love with strangers smiles,
And actually giving crap.

But I will apologize for one thing,
(And not because I/'/m sensitive and assuming
I/'/m being blamed for something)
But because I pity you.

You, the boy who believes that emotions
And logic can/'/t co-exist.

I wonder how you live because,
What does it mean to be alive if not
To feel?

when the real man cries the weaker man
knows what true strength truly means and by that becomes more heroic.

and there is no apology needed between the two real men / for their two different mothers will rejoice as will all women and their sisters

I wonder if strength or weakness is not already sewn within each and all/ I always have.

We are not alone none of us are

This is a very solid poem expressing internal truths
onto another.

Thank you!
Peace!
