Everyday is the same
drama is the game
I try to stay away
I use my poker face,
The world is a stage
and everyone is acting all the time
with social media engaged
many have lost their minds.
I had a quest
to live a simple life
try to help out others
when tears fill their eyes
but
even a hero gets a bullet in the chest
and has some doubts
if he has done his best.
Someone is filled with rage
now it is time to make a movie
saying they feel betrayed
and it is oh so moving
emotions are exhausted
til there is nothing left
silently I laugh
that is acting at its best.
The world is a stage
where everyone is playing games
you never really know
anyone anyway,
do your best
to stay away from stress
and try to be ready
for what comes next.
