Powerful and mighty, touching my soul
I was making my way across the usual path

Then there/'/s the boy that tried filling your shoes
Fate puts him still near me, though this isn/'/t our will
Yet sometimes I wish he were you
And I swear he must think the same too!

When I least expect it, so I/'/ll never give up

I write of love because it/'/s a force so inspiring
Powerful and mighty, touching my soul

Nicely written! I think it/'/s safe to say we all fall into the same dilemma. The one who/'/s always around and the one we/'/ve always hoped for...
