You were but just a little girl, When you came into my world. If memory serves me right, just thirteen - The prettiest little thing. Life has taken you down a hard but beautiful road, From time to time youve changed your postal code. When I look at you today; I would like to say: Youve grown into a beautiful young lady, Soon to have your first baby. We wish you only joy, As you bring into life your baby boy. Oh how far you have come, From that little girl twiddling her thumbs. As you enter into motherhood, I know youll guide Vince into manhood. He will rise above the crowd, And he will make you proud. Just as we are of you... So you will be of him too!

Your poem was beautiful. All children need good parents who will stand by their side :) |
